He opened his own law firm in 1975, in partnership with Dominique Ducret. In 2002, he joined Laurence Bory.
Along with his work as a lawyer, he also headed the Geneva Debt Collection Office ad interim.
He also worked as a Director in several companies and presided a major private Geneva clinic. His knowledge in the field of health later made him take part in an ongoing project on networking computerized medical files.
He was also extensively involved in the special administration of various companies in the market in view of their rationalization or liquidation.
He sits on the board of directors of a major local bank.
He is a member of various associations, including the Swiss Jurists' Society,the Swiss Bar Association and the Geneva Bar Association.
